Haas Automation, Inc., the largest manufacturer of CNC machine tools in the U.S., marked a major milestone with a groundbreaking ceremony, celebrating the start-of-construction of its highly anticipated 2.4 million square-foot manufacturing facility in Henderson, Nevada. This new state-of-the-art plant will serve as an expansion to Haas’ existing operations in Oxnard, California, and will further position the company as a global leader to meet the growing demand for Haas products. The event drew notable attendees, including Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero, Haas Founder & CEO Gene Haas, and City of Henderson Councilman Dan Shaw.
Located on a 234-acre site, this cutting-edge facility will become a major manufacturing hub, attracting other high-tech companies to the area and creating hundreds of job opportunities for residents of southern Nevada. The new plant will supply high-tech industries across sectors like aerospace, defense, medical, agriculture energy, automotive and consumer products, supporting Haas Automation’s mission to drive innovation in manufacturing through advanced machine tools and technology.
