Las Vegas, NV – September 8, 2025 — The Las Vegas Firefighters Benefit Association (LVFBA) is partnering with Loaded Empanadas to host a special event celebrating and supporting the brave men and women of the Las Vegas City Fire Department. On September 12, 2025, the event will feature an appreciation lunch followed by an empanada making class at Loaded Empanadas, located at 750 S. Rampart Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89145.
The appreciation lunch will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, providing an opportunity for community members and supporters to gather and honor the firefighters. Following the lunch, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the fire fighters will participate in an interactive empanada making class, offering a unique and engaging way to celebrate local heroes.
“We are proud to host this event in honor of the courageous firefighters who dedicate their lives to keeping our community safe,” said Anna Gomes, owner of Loaded Empanadas. “This day is about showing our appreciation and giving back to those who serve us all.”
The Las Vegas Firefighters Benefit Association is a 501(c)(9) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting both active and retired members of the Las Vegas City Fire Department. The association provides essential health and human service programs and helps cover medical insurance premiums for retired firefighters, ensuring their wellbeing during and after their service.
The event will also offer media representatives a chance to meet and interview LVFBA members and Loaded Empanadas’ owners. This is a unique opportunity to share the stories of local heroes and highlight the community’s support for those who protect it.
