A new Holiday Inn Express & Suites has broken ground in Sparks, Nevada. The 93-room hotel will offer travelers modern amenities, including complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, a patio area, and BBQs, catering primarily to short-term stays. Due to the growth in northern Nevada, market studies show that hotels are continuing to thrive and are in high demand.“We’re excited to expand northern Nevada’s hospitality options with our new hotel,” said Dave DeYoung, President of MacCall Management, L.L.C. “Not only does this project bring modern amenities and meet the area’s strong demand for hotel accommodations, but we’re also proud to announce the hotel owner, FJ Management, donated the land to The Afton for senior affordable housing, ensuring families have a welcoming place to stay when they visit. This hotel is perfectly positioned to be a key part of Reno’s growing tourism and business landscape.”
The Holiday Inn Express will be the sixth hotel managed by MacCall Management, L.L.C., adding to its portfolio of properties, including the Staybridge Suites in Carson City.
Metcalf Builders, an award-winning construction company headquartered in Reno, will serve as the general contractor of the development and has announced that construction for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites is already underway, with an expected opening in February 2026.
