Effective January 3rd, 2023 – Peter (Pete) Johnston joined Cork Distributors as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer. Pete will lead Cork’s sale’s initiatives and business development.
Pete’s roots in the wine and spirits business began in New York City in 1995 with Charmer Industries (now Empire Merchants of New York). Pete has worked for leading beverage companies including Moet Hennessy USA, Breakthru Beverage of Nevada, where he led sales for the fine wine business for 6 years, and Epic Wines and Spirits of California, as Vice President of Sales, Southern California. Prior to joining Cork Distributors, Pete was Chief Sales Officer at Neft Vodka where he significantly expanded the distribution of the brand in the US and Canada. Pete’s passion and specialization in the business lies in sales and organizational leadership, trade development, and marketing.
