RENO, Nev. (October 5, 2023)—The Club at Rancharrah, Reno’s newest private social club, opens its doors to the public for the second time this year, Oct. 25, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In this exclusive showcase event, the community is invited to explore Club amenities, real estate and event opportunities, while enjoying the history and conviviality of the former Harrah Family Estate.
“We want the community to feel the true essence of Rancharrah,” said Jessica Pauletto, Assistant General Manager and Membership Director—”one that is welcoming, diverse, and serves as an incubator for those who wish to grow their social circles.”
The Club at Rancharrah, which celebrated its third birthday in August 2023, has five major focus areas: dining, spa, fitness, meetings & events, and outdoor recreation. Made up of resident and non-resident members, The Club is home to nearly 600 families and growing.
Upon entry, guests will begin a self-guided tour through Nineteen 57 Bar & Restaurant, featuring samplings of locally sourced, seasonal cuisine. Executive Chef Paul McCabe has partnered with purveyors, including Lazetich Ranch (Reno, Nev.) First Fruits (Fallon, Nev.), Prema Farm (Loyalton, Calif.), Tahoe Food Hub (Truckee, Calif.) and Beloved’s Bread (Reno, NV).
“It’s unlike anything in Reno,” said Robert Cuillard, General Manager and CEO. “We underline ‘social club’ because everything we do is designed to connect people with fine dining at our core. We want to further Reno’s economic development plan by providing elegant experiences for new and existing business professionals and their families.”
Guests will then descend the main staircase to The Spa at Rancharrah, the former basement of John Harrah’s 40,000 square-foot private residence. The Spa features five treatment rooms, a nail salon, retail boutique, relaxation areas, steam rooms and saunas. Spa & Fitness Director Kelly Gold brings accolades of wellness experience within the private club industry, as she built the spas at Martis Camp and Lahontan Golf Club in Truckee, Calif.
A walk through the three-level fitness center, which was once home to various bedrooms and a garage, reveals a weight room, cardio room, a group classroom and a site for personal training.
The Club is a host site for weddings, non-profit fundraisers, business networking and private events. In 2022, it hosted the United States Conference of Mayors, inviting leaders from across the nation. The Club has also hosted events for The Children’s Cabinet, Junior League of Reno and the Eddy House, all of which raise money for underserved communities.
The Club’s 300-person wedding ceremony site sits on the former 3-hole golf course. With an outdoor capacity of over 500 guests, The Club has an exclusive partnership with Roundabout Catering. Guests of the Open House will enjoy samples of Roundabout’s cuisine, while exploring over 15 featured event vendors. Experts in lighting and design, music and entertainment, event planning and florals, photography and videography will occupy The Club’s upper landing.
The backyard of The Club features a 25-meter outdoor pool, a seasonal bar & restaurant, two pickleball courts, two bocce courts, fire pits and walking trails.
The Community at Rancharrah encompasses seven total neighborhoods, or about 400 total homes upon completion. Featured neighborhoods include Latigo and Cantaro by Toll Brothers, and The Villas at Rancharrah by New Edge Living. Neighborhoods of Lariat and Riata include custom homesites which add a diverse community aesthetic. Guests are invited to tour model homes at The Villas at Rancharrah, located at 22 Persano St, or visit the Toll Brothers sales office at 7400 Rancharrah Pkwy, Suite 130, for remaining homesites.
With two underground tunnels, secret doors and hidden rooms, The Club’s unique architectural elements add to its overall allure.
