RENO, Nev. – The Par by Parlay 6 Brewing Company will host its second annual Partoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 2 to 8 p.m., transforming The Par and the alley behind it into an Oktoberfest-style block party. The event is free to attend and open to all ages, with food and drinks available for purchase. Guests must be 21 or older to enjoy Parlay 6 beers or participate in beer-related games.
Launched last year as The Par’s grand opening event, Partoberfest returns as an anniversary tradition, celebrating the milestone with the same energy and community spirit that marked its debut.
“Partoberfest was our introduction to Reno, and it will always hold a special place for us,” said Adam Kincaid, co-founder and VP of sales at Parlay 6 Brewing Company. “This year it’s about celebrating how far we’ve come and thanking the community that has embraced us.”
Guests can raise a glass to the season with specials on Parlay 6 beers, including the new Partoberfest lager, available on tap at The Par and in retail cases to go. Food offerings will highlight a hearty lineup of brats, including Flocchini Family Provisions sausages made with Parlay 6 beer, along with elevated pub fare from The Par’s kitchen.
Entertainment will feature live DJs throughout the afternoon, along with classic Oktoberfest contests, including Stein Chug, Swingin’ Brats, Hammerschlagen, Stein Race and Stein Holding. Winners will take home prize packs with handmade steins, gift cards and items from neighboring businesses.
This year’s Partoberfest will also feature activations from neighboring Midtown businesses, including Jade Dispensary, Prude & Boujee, Coffeebar and Rum, Sugar, Lime. The festival games are presented with support from Carter Bros. Ace Hardware.
Located at 1041 S. Virginia St. in Midtown Reno, The Par by Parlay 6 Brewing Company pairs 24 taps of craft beer with a full bar and elevated pub fare, serving as a destination for both locals and visitors.
