Valley Oaks Medical Group was recently honored by Nevada Business Magazine with the 2024 Nevada Business Awards, taking the “Newbie” category, in the Southern Nevada region. Sponsored by Nevada States Bank, The Nevada Business Awards recognize “Battle Born” businesses for their efforts to continue to grow regardless of the current economic climate.
The awards are given for eight distinct categories, each with three Southern Nevada and three Northern Nevada finalists. The finalists and winners are chosen by two groups of judges from the northern and southern parts of the state.
With a culture of innovation and a shared sense of purpose among its team members, Valley Oaks has committed to expanding healthcare services in Las Vegas. The company recently opened its 10th Las Vegas location at 7855 Blue Diamond Road in the Southwest Valley, and also has a clinic in Pahrump.
“My children are third-generation natives to Nevada and this means so much to me,” said Kimberly Grana, Valley Oaks Medical Group’s vice president of operations. “I’m from a family of first responders, and we have dedicated ourselves to the betterment of this community, and this endeavor in healthcare is much the same. We are bringing in healthcare providers from all across the United States into Nevada. We are bringing access to care. We have dedicated ourselves to growing so that that access never ceases. We take walk-in patients. We see all ages, and everyone is welcome at Valley Oaks Medical Group.”
Owned by Astrana Health, which has chosen to establish its new headquarters in Las Vegas, Valley Oaks will rebrand all of its locations to AstranaCare by 2025. Its new 5,000-square-foot Blue Diamond location operates under the AstranaCare brand.
