Recognized for work in assisting law enforcement to solve cold cases
LAS VEGAS – In recognition of their efforts to solve cold cases and provide answers to families across the Las Vegas Valley, Vegas Justice League will be honored with a Key to the Las Vegas Strip by Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft. The ceremony will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30 at the world-famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.
Vegas Justice League has helped close nine cold cases across Southern Nevada, delivering long-awaited answers to families who have waited years—and in some cases, decades—for justice. Through innovative use of DNA technology and community-driven support, Vegas Justice League has become a beacon of hope for families impacted by unsolved crimes. Their work has fundamentally changed the landscape of cold case investigations in Las Vegas.
“Having lived in Las Vegas for over nine years, I saw an opportunity to give back in a meaningful way. That’s why I co-founded Vegas Justice League— to support law enforcement across Southern Nevada in solving cold cases,” said Justin Woo, co-founder of Vegas Justice League. “We’ve been able to revisit old evidence and close cases that once seemed unsolvable.”
Most recently, Vegas Justice League’s efforts led to a breakthrough in the 1994 murder of Melonie White. After nearly 30 years, DNA technology funded by Vegas Justice League identified the suspect responsible. This success story is one of many that reflects their commitment to the community and the people of Las Vegas.

Vegas Justice League joins an elite group of past recipients of the Key to the Strip, including legends like U2 and Katy Perry. Their unique contributions stand out for their humanitarian impact, blending cutting-edge technology with community support to make Las Vegas a safer place for all.
