LAS VEGAS — WomenUp Leadership Development Program, a trailblazing resource in gender equality and leadership development, launches its transformative 6-month program designed to provide women the comprehensive tools and resources they need to excel in senior-level leadership roles across all industries.
Created to address the persistent gender gap in executive and C-Suite level positions, WomenUp Leadership Development Program combines real-world leadership theories with practical skills development and one-one-one executive coaching and mentorship from women leading the most influential consumer brands in the world.
Women occupy only 31% of senior leadership roles in organizations, are 54% less likely than men to have an advocate at work, are 20% less likely to receive actionable feedback, and are eight times more likely to receive feedback on their personality than men.
Sessions will begin on Sept. 11 through Feb. 12, 2025, with one session a month, two in-person and four virtual. Key speakers include Seema Kathuria, Managing Director at Russell Reynolds, one of the world’s leading executive search and leadership advisory firms, Lili Tomovich, Chief Marketing Officer at a global financial services provider, and Ana Mendy, VP, Market, Policy, and Innovation Insight in the digital payment industry.
Participants will engage in modules covering strategic leadership, communication, influencing skills and personal branding. Each session features experts with extensive experience in corporate and entrepreneurial settings.
“This program is not just imparting knowledge to those wanting to learn, but creating a supportive community where women can grow, network, and lead with authenticity and resilience,” said Jan Jones Blackhurst, Program Chair of WomenUp and Executive in Residence at UNLV Office of Economic Development. “It’s imperative that we provide them with the support, real-time feedback, mentorship and resources they need to further excel their trajectory and pave the way for future generations of women leaders.
The program is now accepting new applicants, specifically current women leaders from diverse backgrounds and industries. WomenUp Leadership Development Program encourages applications from individuals committed to driving change, promoting inclusivity and shaping the future of leadership.

About WomenUp Leadership Development Program
As a response, the WomenUp program is specifically designed to address the common barriers and challenges that women are experiencing in the corporate workplace on their path to executive-level roles. WomenUp offers a comprehensive, six-month learning experience, utilizing two full-day in-person learning experiences and four virtual full-day sessions. The program begins with a complete 360 feedback assessment of participants from their leader, peers, and direct reports, which allows us to tailor specific individual skill set learnings and build confidence and self-awareness to propel their careers forward. Additionally, each participant will be paired with an experienced Executive Coach throughout the program, who will guide participants through their 360 feedback, while providing focus on areas for improvement, growth, skill enhancement, and overall effectiveness. Most importantly, WomenUp will offer opportunities for participants to meet and engage with mentors and sponsors, who have achieved success in Fortune 500 Corporate environments. These women will share their stories and the lessons learned during their journey to the C-Suite, providing valuable guidance to the cohort group.
